Roses in Bloom

As the repotting season starts in earnest and trees are showing real evidence of growth I thought I would post a few pics of some roses that are in blossom in my front garden. They have been in blossom almost all winter but I have just not gotten round to photographing them. These were new roses planted in an old bed in mid summer last year. I have never had roses blooming in my garden before June.

Strange things are happening. it’s only the 24th February

These two bushes sit side by side in the same bed. It’s a pity they have to go as the plants need pruning for the new season.
