I thought it was time to give this little tree a better home so I have transferred it into a more suitable pot that I bought from Peter Snart at his last visit for the princely sum of £10.
I still have little idea about Shohin Bonsai and have really no real vision for this tree. I think it is a reasonably pleasing image as it is. It has a decent nebari and trunk taper. The bark has an aged look about it. It was originally bought from a stall on the side of a canal in Amsterdam some years ago and has been more or less left untouched since then. I’m looking for inspiration but this doesn’t come easily to me.
