Humble Chinese Elm

I picked this tree up for a couple of pounds in Homebase many years ago. It was almost dead through neglect and I have managed to neglect it some more over the past years. It stands about 14 inches high It was re-potted last season and has grown well since then. This is it before and after a basic trim and as the pics show I have experimented with a new front that I think probably works better. The ramification is building up nicely but the tree has an awful contrived twist that is fairly typical of these store-bought chinese elm. Maybe this is one to try out on EBay some time soon. If it was a cork bark it might be worth keeping.
