Chinese Juniper Cascade

I put this tree into a bonsai pot for the first time in the spring of this year and it has responded well. The foliage has really thickened up so I gave it a light clipping last weekend and decided to have a go at a basic wiring to try to open the tree up a bit and lay the foundation for future pad development. Much of the extension growth is still lanky and floppy and it was not practical to fine wire to the branch tips. This will keep for another season although I will remove the downward   growing shoots gradually over the next few weeks. My idea is not to stress the tree too much as the growing season starts its wind down to winter.

These pics show the tree over the last few years.

These final images show the tree after the recent work. I am  satisfied with progress to date but recognise that finalising the image of this tree is beyond my capability so Suggestions as to the future development are welcome.
