Blackthorn Charm

While this little tree hasn’t changed much over the last few seasons it still yields it’s bounty of pleasure each year. There is something particularly satisfying about the blackthorn blossom and this little tree never fails to produce.

I am planning to ramp up the feeding regime throughout  this year’s growing season as I try to encourage this tree to fuller branch ramification. It seems to have stalled where it is these last years and hasn’t produced much if anything by way of branch extension. Any tips in this direction would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Lovely wee tree Michael. Would be great to see it if you’re going to the next NIBS meeting.
