Shohin Pyrancantha

This humble little pyracantha has grown well this season and has just had a bit of a trim to open it up a bit and at the same time compact the image.

The tree has a very thick and ugly back branch that it can’t afford to lose at this stage as losing it would set it back many years. At Phil’s suggestion I have carved it a little to lighten its bulk. Don’t know if it has worked  but time will tell as it fills out again and more foliage develops to mask it a little more.
