Japanese Larch branch Replacement and Refinement

I came across this video in which Mike Konig gives clear and helpful advice about the ongoing maintenance of Japanese Larch. As explained this technique is needed to correct the inevitable thickening of branches and also to develop a more mature image.

I know that we have heard it all before but re-visiting a subject is a very useful tool in the learning process.
